About

About me:
I could go on for sometime about how charming I was a child, but the picture should be able to tell the story without me having to stumble over myself.
Thank you for visiting the official website of Lance Allred: the basketball player and author. This website is something I am going to enjoy with blogging and updates as far as my careers in basketball and writing go. Please feel free to post or ask questions and I will do my best to respond in proper time.
If you want to know more about me, I guess you will just have to buy my book, Longshot, from HarperOne. I have already written about my life once, and it was very draining, and I don' feel like doing it again, and I would just start going overboard on oversharing, not knowing how much is enough if I tried to encapsulate it here on the about section. Trust me, once is enough. Thank you, to my fans who have cheered with me through thick and thin. The game is not nearly as fun to play, when you have no one to play for.

Dear Lance,
I doubt that you will remember me, but I was a Speech and Hearing student at the University of Montana when you were first diagnosed with your hearing loss. I was assigned to you as a student clinician and worked with you on speech and language. You were one of my first patients and I loved working with you. Your parents were amazing, very supportive. Through the years I have often wondered how things went for you. It seems you have been very successful. Please say hello to your Mom and Dad for me, they may remember me. I really enjoyed them and I hope they are doing well. I am not surprised to see that you have done well. You were such a cute kid. I will be very interested to read Longshot.
